Participants build on the training received in Part 1 to delve more deeply into what is required for active listening—how to model and practice it with students in the classroom. You’ll also explore how to use collaborative leadership to effectively shift responsibility for discussion quality and outcomes to each student and the class as a whole. Take-aways include new strategies and tools that cultivate student cooperation and self-awareness, authentic connections, and a sense of community in any classroom.
