The Touchstones process is not a book; it’s a program that supports learners of all ages in learning how to engage in civil discourse and in how to work together more cooperatively as a group and as individual human beings.

Touchstones Partner
To become a Touchstones partner, any teacher, school, or district purchasing a package above will engage in multi-year data collection and analysis with the Touchstones Discussion Project to evaluate student progress and program implementation. Participants will adjust costs to their packages based on varying numbers of students and teachers, and the partner discount reduces the overall cost by more than 25%.

In addition to the purchasing package, partnership involves the following evaluation efforts.
School Staff Efforts
- Participating teachers will collect data on teacher and student perceptions and progress on discussion 3 times per school year across 3 school years.
- Participating school staff members (leaders and teachers, as appropriate) will participate in end-of-year evaluation meetings with TDP staff to determine continuous improvement efforts for the next school year (one day each May for 3 school years).
TDP Staff Efforts
- TDP will create the data tools and communicate the results of the collected data to school leaders and teachers 3 times per school year across 3 school years.
TDP staff will participate (with leaders and/or teachers) in end-of-year evaluation meetings with TDP staff to determine continuous improvement efforts for the next school year (one day each May for 3 school years).

- Professional development pricing subject to change if clients want in-person events where online is noted and vice versa.
